Who we are

ProofPost is a small UK service that turns the public reviews a business has earned into branded social media posts. If you have any question about this policy or your data, email alex@proofpost.co.uk.

What we collect

When you fill in the free post form we collect your name, your business name, your town, a link to where your reviews are, and your email address. If you buy a pack or the Reputation Engine, payment is taken by our checkout provider — we never see or store your card details.

What we do with it

We use your details to make the post you asked for, to email it to you, and to check once that it arrived. We do not sell your data, and we do not add you to a marketing list without asking. Form submissions are stored in our customer enquiry system so we can keep track of your request.

Reviews

Posts are made from reviews that are already published publicly on Google or Facebook. We never alter a customer's words, and we do not publish anything on your accounts unless you ask us to.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for up to 24 months so we can pick up where we left off, and records of any purchase for as long as UK tax rules require. You can ask us to delete your details at any time by emailing alex@proofpost.co.uk.

Cookies

This site does not use analytics or advertising cookies. The embedded form may set a cookie needed to submit it.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us and we'll sort it. If you're not happy with how we've handled it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
